What's on tap for Day Two of TSW Best Practices 2014!

day2-picYesterday’s TSW event was a home run! Tons of energy and momentum, with a laser focus on the future of services technology. Today we keep that momentum going with even more great sessions, discussions, and networking events. It’s going to be a great Day Two!

This Morning

There’s no better way to start the day than with breakfast and stimulating conversation. At TSW, attendees get both by partaking in our TableTopic Breakfasts. These free-flowing interactive sessions are yet another opportunity for you to discuss your key challenges, collect valuable new ideas, and make industry contacts that will serve you for many years to come. And if you missed today’s “nosh and network,” don’t worry, another TableTopic Breakfast is scheduled for tomorrow morning too!

Our Executive Breakfast is an awesome opportunity for you, you peers, and TSIA staff to share your observations and experiences as they relate to key major-market areas. Today’s topic? “Building a Strong Foundation for Contract Revenue Growth in an Industrial Equipment and Technology Environment.”

Not one but five morning keynotes started the day from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. These power-packed, discipline-specific sessions presented by industry notables are designed to inspire. Leaders from ANCILE Solutions, TSIA, Zendesk, Avaya, SAP, and SuccessFactors, an SAP company, rounded out the roster.

Following are a dozen Best Practices Breakouts from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Then, running from 11:00 to noon, you’ll choose from four Service Technology Advantage Case Study sessions covering multiple disciplines. Learn from companies who have successfully launched initiatives leveraging today’s best products and services. You’ll get solutions to real-world business issues that you may be facing yourself.

This Afternoon

During lunch in the EXPO, don’t miss the EXPO Theater Breakouts, where TSIA partners present their offerings, oftentimes with a customer co-presenter. Get there early, as these popular sessions are often standing-room-only!

Starting 2 p.m., this afternoon’s lineup includes six Business Makeover Case Studies. These are live problem-solving sessions with on-the-spot advice given by a panel of industry experts around commonly shared business challenges. And then at 3:45, 12 Workout sessions take place, featuring a great lineup of focused business topics.

This Evening

After a super-busy day, you’ll want to head to the EXPO for the evening reception and prize drawings. It’s THE place to mix, mingle, and network. Speaking of networking, we have two great networking events taking place tonight.

The Women in Services Networking Dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. and features guest speaker Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn, vice president and general manager of Learning @ Cisco. Her topic is “Are You the Boss of You?” You won’t want to miss this dynamic speaker. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner and the drawings will be donated to Dress for Success San Jose and San Diego. This is a very popular TSW event, looked forward to and attended by many top leaders in the services space.

Or perhaps you’d enjoy an evening of fine wine tasting, fantastic company, live music, and the chance to win the Grand Prize Drawing and other special giveaways. If so, attend the TSW WineDown from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. This event is limited to the first 150 people, so stop by the TSW registration desk ASAP to pick up your wristband for entry!

We hope you enjoy your Day Two. It’s been a great event so far. Remember to stay connected while you’re here: Follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, find us on Flickr, and keep checking back to our Research Team blog listing for updates from TSIA research execs and messaging around the show!
