Today is the last day of TSW Service Transformations. We learned a lot about current trends, industry best practices, and the future of the technology services as we make the transition to providing more outcome-based solutions. Be sure to take advantage of the remaining sessions of the conference by taking a look at today’s schedule. Let’s see what’s in store for Day Three of TSW.
Beginning at 7:30 a.m., enjoy more TableTopic Breakfast sessions in the TSW | EXPO. Join your peers for an open discussion with service practitioners to talk about common industry issues over a delicious breakfast.
Then at 8:30 a.m. tune in for a debate-style session between Amir Shub of LivePerson and Eric Hall of Adobe on the topic “Services in the Cloud: New People or New Skills?” with moderator Thomas Lah, the Executive Director of TSIA. Hear them discuss whether support staff with different skill sets are needed for cloud services or if existing employees can be “retooled” to meet the new demands of the cloud.
At 9:30, join Peter Lacoste, VP of Global Managed Services for EMC, for his keynote presentation "New Frontiers of Innovation in Managed Services". In this informative presentation, Peter will discuss how EMC Managed Services has entered a new frontier of managed services using Cloud & Big Data solutions to enable customers to buy these outcomes, as well as the implications of these changes on managed service groups in technology companies.
Between 10:00-11:30 a.m., attendees will have more opportunity to learn from peers in a two flights of breakout sessions presented by TSIA members. It’s also the last chance to peruse the products and meet with exhibiting solution partners in the TSW | EXPO. Don’t miss this final opportunity to learn valuable insights that will help you transform your business!
End your conference experience on a high note with an afternoon filled with live music, celebration, and inspiration at the TSIA Awards Luncheon. Here we will be announcing the winners of the 2014 STAR Awards, as well as recognizing TSIA members who have participated in TSIA’s Support Staff Excellence and Operational Best Practices Program Certification programs. Technology Services World provides the perfect backdrop for recognizing excellence, making the TSIA Awards luncheon a popular event for honorees and attendees alike.
